I am so excited to share with you that I have a title for the prequel story that I've been writing for The Curse of Broken Shadows! Are you ready?

The Bones of Crystal Sand

Because I know everyone is dying to know how the heck Brela ended up engaged to the Crown Prince of the Sand Sprites. There are a few other stories within that collection and I think you guys will really love it. If you're on Patreon, you can read all of these stories early... and you might be getting a bonus scene next week that current patrons voted on! That scene won't be available anywhere else.

And I even have a super special surprise... the cover! Angelee works MIRACLES.

As promised, I'm sharing this book with readers for FREE. You can download it here. With baby coming up, I'm not going to be able to monitor this book as closely, but if you download it, I would GREATLY appreciate a star rating or full review on Goodreads (and Amazon on/around release day, April 12, if you finish it by then). Reviews help keep more books coming and will definitely make my day when I'm sleep deprived with my new little nugget!

Quarter 1 recap: a bit of a heads up on what's to come and the stuff I knocked out over the first three months of 2022.

WIP:

As a reminder, all of the prequel stories for The Bones of Crystal Sand are released on Patreon for you to read, including a behind the scenes look at the creation of the series. You can read ahead and get all of Star Supernova before the release in May!

Here's a pretty jaw dropping scene from Kiya's perspective in case anyone forgot that Ryder is actually smart... star collision, star supernova... I wonder what comes next in the star life cycle...

Outro:

Question of the week: How do you keep track of the books you've read?

My Answer: I do a little bit of digital and paper tracking. In my Passion Planner, I use a back page to list out all the books I've read, when I finished them, and their rating. However, for reviews, I stick to Goodreads for tracking (which transfers my reviews to Amazon without much effort). I like joining the yearly challenges on Goodreads (my goal this year is 100 books), but having a page in my planner is really nice so I can go back and see all my accomplishments. I even have a page where I write down all my favorite quotes!

Sending you love, kindness, and peace for wherever you are right now.
