Happy end of April!

I celebrated 31 to absolutely no fanfare... exactly how I like it! We did lunch at my favorite restaurant and my hubby made a GIANT POPTART because why not? It was freaking delicious, so I suggest looking up a recipe using puff pastry.

Also, as the month of April closes, I realized that besides my trip in February, I haven't been out to see softball in person and the season is getting close to done *cue panic*. Since my previous life revolved around softball (I played in college and professionally, plus coached for five years while I got two advanced degrees that I don't use), I'm definitely going to be fixing that ASAP.

Now I'm gearing up for baby's first birthday and freaking out about all the milestones we're hitting. First steps are imminent!

Farrah hid a smile behind her fist. “Princess What’s-Her-Face?”

His sister waved her arm around her head like she couldn’t be bothered. “I replaced her name in my head with information that was actually useful. I think it was how to remember my left from my right hand.” Just to prove her point, she made both her thumbs and pointer fingers into an ‘L’ shape and squinted at them before happily pointing out the correct hand.
