Hey all, short email this week. I hope you're all recovering from delicious food and had a wonderful holiday!

A little surprise for the holiday season, but the entire Warrior Series is available for $0.99 each if you want to test out the series, and if you want to save more, the collections have also dropped price! (Collection One, Two, Three) If you like warrior women and even more language barriers that provide delightful humor like in TCOBS, plus a winged cat that may or may not have a similar personality to Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon, you'll like this series.

Patreon is the best place to be! You'll get plenty of artwork, memes, inside looks at future books, and some really awesome updates on the future of this series. Between the prequel short stories for TCOBS and Star Supernova, you'll get plenty of insider details on the new books coming!

WIP - TCOBS prequel:

Okay, this is definitely my favorite of the mic drop moments in the prequel, and if you've read The Curse of Broken Shadows, you'll recognize the words that Lenni can't quite translate for Brela. *wink wink* no spoilers, I promise.

“What just happened?” Brela hissed as a sprite draped a chain of flowers over her shoulders.

Lenni shrugged. “It’s just about you being the first human to compete and win.”

“Yes, I get that,” she grumbled, then scowled as a guard knelt before her, lifting a long, crystal spear in front of him. “What the fuck?”

“This is Cilverath,” Lenni hissed, nudging her shoulder. “The ceremonial spear of our ancestors. Take it.”

“I’m not taking—“

“You’re supposed to present it to Oni,” Lenni whispered through a forced smile.

As Brela accepted the spear, the crowd roared even louder. “Why am I presenting this to him?”

Lenni smirked and took a step back. “Because you are his kiakiroxa.” At Brela’s raised eyebrow, she shrugged. “Sorry, I don’t know what that word is in your language.”
