Yeah, release day recovery is a real thing. The outpouring of love and support from everyone as Wings hit was really something wonderful. If you missed the release, find it here.

Right about this time, shortly after release as I'm wading through the marketing of a new book, I start to get some imposter syndrome. Writing a book is hard, writing a sequel is also hard. Possibly, at least for me, even harder. There's so much to live up to and so much pressure, that once that release day is over, my emotions crash and I feel like I've run a dozen marathons. This happened after Curse and Bones, but at least I'm prepared.

So, I'm going to take a step back for my mental health. I'm looking at my outline for book 3 and feeling a bit overwhelmed even though I know exactly where this story is going and what that cliffy from Wings is doing to you. There's pressure to make this final installment perfect, which means it's getting harder and harder to start.

In the meantime, I hope you'll stick around. I'll be back late this year and into 2024. You can still find me on socials, and if you have the means, I'd love for you to check out Patreon. It helps between book releases as I balance raising my little one and would be a lovely little surprise that will bring a smile to my face.
