Well, it was an eventful last weekend. Our washer broke (which is a lucky appliance to have break if something has to break, considering we can just go to a laundromat) so we had a fun time cleaning up some water and trying to figure out why the heck it won't drain.
Of course, stress is the last thing I need right now so I spent a lot of the weekend distracting myself... and now I'm reading my fifth book of February.
For anyone who is interested in discounted planners/accessories, I wanted to update you that my discount code for Passion Planner is now LAURAW1. Sadly, because coupon sites are starting to mine for these codes, it will change every couple of months, so I'll be sure to update you if you're interested in their goodies!

5 Things You Might Have Missed From TCOBS - As I finish up sharing the prequel to The Curse of Broken Shadows on Patreon, I've been reminiscing on the creation of this series. TCOBS is my longest book to date and full of so much worldbuilding, characters, and magic. This week's blog post dives a little further into the book and mentions a few things you might not have noticed at first glance.

As a reminder, all of the prequel stories for The Curse of Broken Shadows are being released on Patreon for you to read. Starting in a couple weeks, I'll be dropping the unedited chapters of Star Supernova (book 2 in the Star trilogy and book 5 in the Blue Star series). That's where this little snippet comes from this week!
Featuring an unedited cut from the second chapter of Star Supernova... from Kiya's perspective!

Question of the week: what books are coming out this year that you're super excited about?
My answer: right now, I'm impatiently awaiting House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J Maas (Crescent City book 2) which releases next week. Of course, I have a couple others from my indie friends SM Gaither and Clare Sager that I'm chomping at the bit for!
Sending you love, kindness, and peace for wherever you are right now.
