Beta reads! I'm finally in the business for some beta readers for book 4 in the Blue Star series! This book is technically book 4 but it will serve as a sequel trilogy that can be read separately. It falls in the New Adult and LGBTQ Urban Fantasy categories, contains language (f*bombs which are the real jump from the original trilogy), and will be part of its own trilogy that is still in the works.

I'm hoping to get 1-2 people who have read the entire Soul trilogy (Soul Forgotten, Soul Remembered, Soul Obscured), and 2-3 people who have not read the original trilogy.

If you haven't completed the original trilogy but are still interested and don't mind a spoiler or two, you can also voice your interest. I'm looking for a 2-2.5 week turnaround (essentially returned before or during the last week of February). Right now I'm only able to offer the beta document in Google Docs to track comments.

If you're interested, shoot me a reply to this email and let me know which category you fall under plus an email address that has access to Google Docs (if it's not the one you reply with). The document will have instructions if you're new to beta reading. Depending on the interest, I might not be able to accommodate everyone so please stick with me on this. I really want to include everyone at some point, so anyone who responds and doesn't get the opportunity will definitely be saved for a later beta read chance.

A Re-Introduction:

For all my new friends here, I wanted to do a re-introduction (or maybe surprise you guys with some cool facts). Like this one - did you know I used to be a professional softball player? I also have some records from college . Here are some more fun things:

• I write fantasy books with 🔮magic, 🕳️🌌superpowers, 💜romance, and female characters who 💥literally💥 pack a punch.
• I’ve published nearly 20 stories now on Amazon. Novels, novelettes, and short stories. If an idea strikes me, I write it until it’s done, no matter what length.
• My current projects: Books 8-10 in the Warrior Series which is a high fantasy episodic series. It features magic, a new world with gods, and a warrior guardian of the forest. If you like sword fighting and action, you’ll like this series. I also have a fourth installment of my debut Blue Star series. It features superpowers based on space stuff, bisexual main character, LGBTQ members who don’t get killed off, and some epic magic/drama. You can read the prequel for free if you're not doing the beta read above.
• I do all my own stunts, including but not limited to: acting out the fight scenes in my stories, editing, cursing like a sailor, graphic design, and pep talks. ✍🏻⁠ I love the writing community and I want to connect with more aspiring authors and anyone looking to self-publish. I try to do all my stuff on a limited (to no) budget so I can inspire others who don’t have the financial capabilities to invest huge amounts. It is totally possible.
• I'm a semi-professional cat wrangler🐈, competitive daydreamer☁️, and ☕caffeinated creator. I’m obsessed with planning, time blocking, and productivity, so if you ever need tips or creative ways to get writing done, I got you.
