The last few weeks have felt like a blur! I had a lot of goals I wanted to wrap up by the end of February and I even checked off several March goals in the first week. I've wrapped my next edit on the prequel to my Shadows series, finished the first edits on Supernova, and put together the playlist for the book! I was shocked to finish up that last one, because usually a playlist takes me a little longer. This one just came to me a lot more smoothly than before!

Stay tuned for a blog post just before release day on Supernova (May 21) with the playlist.

This week on the blog:

Scenes that never made the cut: This week is an interesting ones... deleted scenes! These are scenes that were rewritten or never made the final cut of some of my recent books. All unedited, but a fun look my writing process and how things have evolved in the books!

Give me all the books

Do y'all feel this while reading? I mean, this also happens while writing, but I've been on a roll with figuring out the twist before it actually happens in the book I've been reading.

I snorted.

WIP:

As a reminder, all of the prequel stories for The Curse of Broken Shadows are released on Patreon for you to read, including a behind the scenes look at the creation of the series.

Star Supernova is the next book being released on Patreon and it's ~fire~

Question of the week: Do you reread books?

My Answer: I never thought I'd be the person to reread books, but lately that's all I've been wanting to do! With so many releases of series, I've been rereading the previous books as a refresher to get me excited for the new releases. Having a little reminder before the next book helps me get the story straight and reduces the confusion I have when I pick up the next book in the series. I don't mind, and reading books before the entire series has been released helps authors gain traction and get support to continue writing books. Keep that in mind the next time you come across an indie author who is releasing a series - sometimes not buying the books because you're waiting for the entire series to be released can be detrimental to their author business.

Sending you love, kindness, and peace for wherever you are right now.
