7-Figure Weekly - do you trust yourself?
Oct 06, 2024 11:40 pm
For the longest time, I put immense pressure on myself to deliver structured, value-packed content. You know the kind — “three key points,” “actionable tips,” always needing to provide profound takeaways. However, I realized that this approach was stifling my creativity and limiting my connection with my audience.
Now, I’m shifting to a more organic and relaxed approach. Instead of focusing on set formulas, I’m leaning into authentic conversations. At the start of 2023, I decided to bet on myself. I went all in, and the words for my book Assume the Throne began to flow. For the longest time, the book had been sitting in outline format, but once I made that decision, everything came together.
This shift continued into 2024— backing myself, stepping into my greatness, and deciding to help others tap into their greatness. I feel like I’ve been able to connect deeper and bring more of my true message forward.
7-Figure Lesson: Trust Yourself, The Results Will Follow
The biggest breakthrough through this entire process is learning to fully back myself and trust that I’m on the right path. When I was stuck in my old ways—feeling the need to stick to what had always worked—I was limiting my potential. But once I let go of the fear and embraced my true message, everything began to flow. The right clients, the right opportunities, and the results I had been striving for started to show up naturally.
Take Action: If you’re feeling held back, ask yourself: “Am I fully trusting myself in this journey?” Sometimes, the only thing stopping you from reaching your next level is the fear of change. Trust yourself, and the results will follow.
Embracing the Process of Growth
Growth is an ongoing process. Every new level brings new challenges and opportunities, and that’s a good thing! As I’ve embraced my true message, I’ve had to let go of old frameworks that no longer serve me, like my previous live stream structure and membership offerings.
This growth has also involved becoming more intentional about who I work with. My ideal clients are already running — they’re making sales, but they want to reach their next level by deepening their messaging and attracting premium clients. They’re ready for more than just surface-level results.
Take Action: Reflect on your journey. What old frameworks or habits do you need to let go of to move forward? Growth requires shedding what no longer fits your vision.
Looking Forward: What I Focused on This Week
If you’re anything like me, staying organized across different projects can feel like a juggling act. I use ClickUp to keep everything in line. Here’s a snapshot of what I worked on this week.
Personal Brand: I’ve started writing my book again! I feel like I need to shout this from the rooftops because it’s finally time to complete this baby. My goal is to finish the main structure by the end of October and then focus November on gathering interviews, and supporting content. Then a final first draft by February or March of 2025. I will likely publish my draft content here in the 7-Figure Weekly.
You’ve Got Clients: a final update here. At this point, You’ve Got Clients is no longer a focus. It’s almost fully automated with a weekly newsletter. The newsletter is running on Kit with sponsored ads and references to courses and affiliate offers I’m proud to promote.
Young Finances: I’m preparing Young Finances for sale. I’ll be sure to include updates as things move along.
Final Thoughts:
As I continue to evolve in my business journey, I’ve realized a few critical lessons that I hope resonate with you. When you align your business with your true self and message, you not only find fulfillment, but you also attract the right clients who are ready for what you offer. This shift requires personal growth, and mindset work becomes an integral part of that transformation. Lastly, one of the hardest, yet most important steps in this process is recognizing when it’s time to let go of old business models and strategies that no longer serve you, so you can make space for new opportunities and advancements.
