I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got lots of books and bookish gifts!

We're still sick and recovering here, but I'm hopeful that we're on the tail end of this virus and can get back into the swing of things

Christmas was an interesting affair with a quick trip to the ER when my 9-year-old swallowed (or at least thinks she did) a chicken bone. Thankfully, all is well on that front.

Writing Update

I don't have many updates on writing, because this sickness along with Christmas has left little time for writing. But I hope to get back to it this week! However, even though I haven't been writing, I've been brainstorming and letting my characters speak to me.

Which brings me to this awesome Christmas gift my mom gave me...books, an author hoodie (because yes, we do talk to our characters), and some writing gloves!

This was the first Christmas book I read this year and it was insanely good! I read it in just a couple of hours and seriously have considered rereading it because it was that good!

When a secret billionaire and his obnoxious(ly pretty) upstairs neighbor get stuck together on an elevator, their sparks could light a Christmas tree.
