Five Star Recs, Writing Updates, and More!

Happy Wednesday ,
I cannot believe that it is October already! The first two days of October were super hot here and I'm anxiously waiting for the cooler weather and the leaves to start changing colors.
Are you a pumpkin spice person? I admit that I usually am, but I've found two new drinks at local coffee shops that I think have put a PSL on the back burner. The first one is a Butterscotch Bonfire Latte. It's a delicious blend of butterscotch and roasted marshmallows. The second, I discovered this weekend and it was a Dutch Apple Chai Latte with Caramel. Oh. My. Goodness. It may have been the best latte I've ever tasted. The subtle chai flavor with the caramel apple was perfection.
Writing News
I honestly wish I was farther along in writing the sequel to Neverending Mercy. I'm totally in love with the story and characters, but I've been struggling with focusing lately (I'm sure it has nothing to do with three wild kiddos). Anyway, I'm still pumping out words (though very slowly) and so, so close to 50k words.
I've been struggling with some health issues, mainly anemia and migraines, and those have been a big cause of the focus issues. I'd love prayers that I can get this book done this month and out to beta readers in Nov! I would love to have it in your hands in February, but that may be pushing it a bit.
My Newest 5-Star Reviews
All three of these books are just oh, so wonderful. Hannah Linder's are gothic regency with romance and faith woven throughout. I can't stop thinking about the characters and am sad that I have to wait until spring before her next release! All of her books are stand-alone.
MiMi Matthews are not Christian fiction, but they are clean and just so historically rich. I have read all but three of her books and have adored each one. The Lily of Ludgate Hill is the third in a series but could be read as a stand-alone.
