Happy Valentine's Day, !

Do you have any special plans to celebrate today?

Writing Updates

My manuscript for Single Dad Center went off last week to my editor. I've taken most of the last week off to just relax and catch up on some housework. I'm nervous and excited to get the edits back. Until I get those back, I'm working my way back through the half draft that I have written of the sequel to Neverending Mercy. I don't have a firm date for that release, but I'm hoping I'll have it done in time to release in May/June.

As I finish up some current writing projects, I'm looking ahead to what I want to write next and that is where I need your help! What tropes do you want to see in Christian Contemporary Romance? Also, what tropes are you tired of seeing or just wish were done a bit differently?

Life Updates

Not much to report here. Except . . . we got a dog. Well, not us, but my parents did. My kids were so excited to meet their new playmate, Annie. My parents adopted her from the animal shelter and as you can see, she is already loved (maybe a little too much LOL).

Audiobook

In January, I read this wonderful Christian Women's Fiction about church hurt and finding God that I loved. And guess what? It's now available on audio!

The only place that Oakleigh Davenport feels close to God is when she's out in the ocean riding the waves on her surfboard, which is ironic because feeling close to God is the family business. Being an influencer, socialite, and daughter of a prominent megachurch pastor is no easy image to uphold. After a reputation destroying mistake, Oakleigh's world comes crashing down as she is forced to forfeit her social status, clout, and trust fund, leaving her to solely rely on the charity of others.

Trading her surfboard for a pair of cowboy boots, she is exiled to Callaway Ranch, a little corner of the world that belongs to her Aunt Maeve, the whispered about black sheep of the family. Through it all, she realizes that things aren't always as they seem and that family secrets run deep. As she searches to find her identity apart from everything she's ever known, Oakleigh discovers that her journey at Callaway Ranch comes complete with boundless love and compassion, handsome bull riders, and a soul-filling cup of cowboy coffee.
