1. Harvard University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program 2022-23

Harvard University through the Center for African Studies is pleased to announce the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for African-based researchers who are interested in advancing new ideas and promoting enduring knowledge. The program offers 18-month postdoctoral fellowships with 12 months spent at the scholar’s home institution and six months spend in stipend-supported residency at Harvard University.

2. Fulbright 2023 African Research Scholar Program (ARSP) For African Researchers

Two categories of grants are offered in the ARSP: research grants and program and curriculum development grants. Research Grants: Awards of 3 to 9 months are offered for selected university faculty professionals to conduct research in any academic discipline at a U.S. academic or research institution. Program and Curriculum Development Grants: Awards of 3 to 5 months are offered for qualified university faculty to conduct research in any academic discipline at a U.S. academic or research institution.

3. Nordic Africa Institute 2023 Guest Researchers’ Scholarship Programme(Fully-Funded)

The purpose of the Guest Researchers’ Scholarship Programme is to provide opportunities for postdoctoral researchers in Africa to pursue their own research projects, thereby indirectly strengthening the academic milieux in African countries. The scholarship offers access to the Institute’s library and other resources that provide for a stimulating research environment.

4. The Einstein Fellowship For Interdisciplinary Research For Young Researchers 2022

The Einstein Forum and the Wittenstein Foundation is pleased to announce the 2022/2023 Einstein Fellowship for young outstanding thinkers who wish to pursue a project in a different field from that of their previous research. The fellowship’s purpose is to support those who, in addition to producing superb work in their area of specialization, are also open to other, interdisciplinary approaches. The fellow will receive a stipend of EUR 10,000 and reimbursement of travel expenses.
