8 experiences you didn't know should be on your CV
May 14, 2022 7:12 am
2. Membership in the Boy's Scouts, the Brigade, or best of all, the Red Cross Society. This can even supplement a fire, risk, or safety certification in some places of work.
3. Truck driving experience: If you can drive an 8 or 10 wheeler or beyond, there's no 4-wheeled vehicle you're not cleared for. This is a significant advantage in construction, civil work, and similar jobs.
4. Personal assistant to a well-known social or business figure
I've been a Personal Assistant to the Group Head of two banks, a Managing Director of NTA in a certain state in Nigeria, the State Manager of SMEDAN, and the Chief Judge of another Nigerian state, before I joined mainstream work.
Nobody pays a deaf ear when I tell them this.
If you were to see my résumé, you'd love it, especially after seeing what these folks had to say about me as a recommendation.
