Hello , I guess it's about time I leave this question open to you? Is Nigeria really your problem or you're choosing to throw blames at others because the odds are not in your favour?

That's not fair.

Before you answer this, I have come with another round of gist for you. Do you know recently disney studios produced a film titled 'Rise' which has been creating a buzz among several persons for a while now?

The film took us through the biography of Giannis Ugo Antetokounmpo, a big shot Greek-Nigerian professional basketballer who has earned a name and huge fanbase over the years.

But there's a striking part to all of this. Giannis and his brothers were born to Nigerian parents who had illegally migrated to Greek in search of greener pastures. They were known to live almost a recluse life just so they could hide from the police.

Worse is they had to keep surviving the trenches even in their hideout until Giannis and his brother discovered something that changed the Antetokounmpo story; basketball.

There's still another twist to this story. Giannis was never good at basketball. Infact he was the poorest team player. On the other hand, his younger brother was the real deal until life happened. This didn't stop their dream to rescue their family from poverty and ridicule.

It was almost like his brother passed the mantle to him and he, being the first child had to bear the burden of responsibility for the family.

So you want to know what he did? I'll definitely tell you. Knowing he wasn't good at this, he started to watch biography of successful players, watched how they played - the technicalities of basketball. At rehearsals, he would observe keenly what to do and not do. Then he started to make extra sacrifices by rehearsing alone hours before the actual team's practice time.

Soon he became one of the high flying team members who benefited mentorship, admission into a bigger club, secured legal passports for himself and family, and completely changed their status. He is now popularly known the name "Greece freak" showing how much invaluable he is to his team and largely the country.

Have you seen where we are landing? The country where he was once a wanted illegal didn't stand in his way, where he was coming from didn't even stop him and everything he has now is hard and consistent work paying off.
