Yolanda Mediavilla Capilla’s work is created from the soul, from her conscience on earth, from her unconditional love for the offerings she is giving us, For this reason, the use of natural materials to make them, which nourish his works, go through the fruits of the sea such as “nacre” and “pearls”, to the treasures of the earth in their different forms such as semi-precious minerals (“lapis lazuli “,” Quartz (green, white, transparent) “,” Nile blue “, vesuvius violet”, “Jade”, “jasper”, “terracotta”, “volcanic lava”, “gypsum” … and their different supports (fabrics, canvases, paper, glass, wood …) Thus creating, with this combination of materials, a vibrational work that interacts with the viewer. The primacy of white and the natural tones of the minerals illuminate the creations, thus inviting from purity and acceptance to a shared journey without fear. The stroke comes from within the soul, naked, sweet, that like an overture introduces us to circular life, where the flow of existence is a slow, wise, humble, courageous and subtle transmutation. The works are an invitation to self-knowledge, to a deep personal journey, to the embrace of the shadow and reconciliation with oblivion. A sensible acceptance for a real exit from the chrysalis.

Stella Maris Tessitore: nació en Argentina en 1965. Vive y trabaja en Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires. Es egresada de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Su obra es la fusión de técnicas textiles, gráficas y plásticas. La palabra, la intervención con fuego, las tintas y los hilados forman parte de sus obras. Durante la cuarentena, y aún en curso, desarrolla el Proyecto: "De las formas de habitarnos", poesía visual: pequeños objetos y tintas que surgieron de la mano de la imagen y la palabra. Lucia Calabrino:
I was born in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I studied Fine Arts. I have been living in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for 30 years, where I graduated with a degree in Advertising from the National University of Lomas de Zamora. I have had collective and individual exhibitions since 1982 in Argentina and abroad. A characteristic of my life as an artist is curiosity. I investigated various experimental techniques: asphalt painting, cyanotype, embroidery on paper, biomaterials, glass, experimental photography techniques, textiles, artist’s book, inks and watercolours. Today I rely on all of them, combining them or not, depending on the meaning of the work. I worked with colour for many years, I felt comfortable with it and got good results. Until I decided it was time for new challenges: I decided to work with achromatics (asphalt paint) and face figuration through the female body. This is how Mirada de Mujer was born, the project I have been working on for 12 years. The essence of the project: through the use of glazes I try to make the female being visible. Transparencies have always played a leading role in my work, with all the techniques that have passed through my hands: to investigate transparency and make it visible, to show what was there but was not visible. Although Mirada de Mujer began as a search for visibility of the feminine being, today I see that I am talking about my own visibility. The work became autobiographical, that’s why the glazes always reappear, no matter what technique I use, they are the way in which I discover myself.

Cuerpos Mujeres... Mujeres y sus cuerpos...
Mis mujeres son una única mujer... soy yo, llevando a todas las otras en la representación artística de mi interioridad”.
Con una pincelada febril y apasionada con su lápiz, lleva hábilmente a sus espectadores al mundo femenino usando luces y sombras, texturas en capas de ricos y atrevidos tintes, o veladuras combinadas con bocetos, escritos y trazos apasionados.
