Hey ,
Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter! I promise, these emails will be few and far between unless I have something special to say or free books to give away.
Here, you can expect:
- Free fantasy stories!
- Funny memes!
And you joined just in time, because my novel Fire of the Forebears is now officially up for preorder!
"Inspired by Brandon Sanderson’s grounded characters and JRR Tolkien’s sense of wonder, Fire of the Forebears is fantasy for fans who think a dual perspective adventure about the fate of one nation might still be pretty epic."
The ebook will be on-sale at $5.99 (normal price $9.99) as a preorder and for the release week. The paperback will be available at $18.99 starting 2/22, and a pretty hardcover is currently in the works and should be for sale soon as well!
Again, thank you for subscribing!
(Really, I am just that thankful I have to say it three times.)
With my writing, I want to give readers an emotionally fulfilling escape from day-to-day life—to offer a soft, persistent reminder that maybe magic still exists in the world, no matter how hard the daily grind tries to convince us otherwise. Without you, I wouldn't have that chance.
Alright, I'm not thanking you a fourth time. That'd be ridiculous.
Looking for more free fantasy stories to read?
Maybe check out this one? It's a flintlock fantasy with dinosaurs.🦕🦖 The ideas in this story will eventually play a part in the Heritor's Helm universe.
Until next time!
Lauren Buck
P.S. Here is a complementary meme. Do you have a funnier meme? Reply to this email with it, and I might send it out to everyone in the next newsletter!
P.P.S. And here is a gorgeous winter picture that is now the lock screen on my phone. (credit: Enantiodromija on Pinterest.)
