Are you a psychic?

Yes, I believe we are all gifted with psychic superpowers. Most of us just don't recognize it or blatantly try to hide from the facts. And that's fine. As a species, we evolved out of relying on our inner intuition and abilities for a number of reasons that I won't go into here.
Last week we discussed a highly uncommon psychic sense of smell. But what are the other psychic senses? And how do you know if you have one or more?
Most people identify being psychic as a person who sees things/people that aren't physically there or can predict the future or they just know things. But it's much more involved than that.
Sense of sight ~ Clairvoyance
This seems to be the most well-known psychic sense, but it's also the least common. These people are mostly classified as seers or remote viewers (a term I recently learned). Clairvoyants may have premonitions, psychic dreams, may see something spiritual as if it were part of the physical world or a mental image in their head. Some say that if you constantly see "angel numbers" or other "signs from spirit) that you are clairvoyant.
Sense of smell ~ Clairsalience
We discussed this one last week. I definitely think it's the least acknowledged psychic sense. Essentially, you smell something that is not there physically. For example, while driving my car in 2018 I smelled the odor of someone who smoked cigarettes all his life and who passed away in 2004 - my dad. We had a nice chat in the car and I always know he is near when I smell cigarette smoke, Marlboros to be exact.
Sense of knowing ~ Claircognizance
Do you ever just know something without any idea how it is that you KNOW this? For example, you know the phone is about to ring and who is calling? OR you know the next song to come on the radio before the current song ends? Most moms do have instances of "just knowing" something when it involves their children. This is known as mom's intuition.
Sense of hearing ~ Clairaudience
Ever hear sounds with no indication of where it came from? Ever hear voices of people who aren't there? Do you have unexplained ringing in your ears (not tinnitus) or hear bells? Do your ears warm for no reason or feel like someone is tugging on your ear? Congrats! You're clairaudient and possibly a psychic medium.
Sense of taste ~ Clairgustance
I'll admit this seems like a weird one but it is a legit thing! It is the least known about and most common sense for psychic mediums. For example, if you taste chocolate cake for no reason, it may be your grandma's spirit trying to connect with you if she used to bake you a most magnificent chocolate/chocolate chip pound cake for your birthday every year.
Sense of touch ~ Clairtangency
Do you get sensations or odd thoughts holding antiques? Maybe you shake someone's hand and have an unexplained need to back away from that person fast or lean in for a hug. Some people can hold an item belonging to someone else and pick up all sorts of senses/information about that person from the item.
Sense of feeling ~ Clairsentience
I know this seems like a duplicate from above, but it's something else entirely. Basically, it's your gut instinct, or as I like to call it, the holy spirit guiding you/nudging you/telling you to go the other way/etc. Also, this sense of feeling helps alert mediums when spirits are near or there's an angel or spirit guide trying to get your attention. For example, the hairs on the nape of your neck stand up for no known reason, goosebumps break out across your arms, or (like me) there's a tingling at the temples or pull from or tightening of the solar plexus.
Sense of emotional feeling ~ Clairempathy
Some refer to this as empathy or being an empath or feeling others emotions. Research shows that approximately 20% of the population are empaths. As one, I can attest it can be exhausting. But clairempathy is a little different. Being an empath means you can sense others' emotions when in their presence. Those with clairempathy sense emotions before they happen or when not even in the presence of the person they are feeling the emotions from. For example, you feel a sudden, unexplained sadness when a family member passes away even if that person lived on the other side of the continent and you haven't been in contact for years.
Having psychic senses isn't as uncommon as we've been led to believe. Do you identify with any of the above? If so, which ones? I'd love to hear from you.
