Ghost Hunting Shenanigans at Morris Costumes Part 1
Jul 11, 2025 7:31 pm
Friday the 13th, 2025 was certainly memorable. I have so many stories to share from the thrilling paranormal investigation with #SpookyCLT and #charlotteareaparanormalsociety at the iconic Morris Costumes shop in Charlotte, NC.
We even made the local news https://qclife.wbtv.com/.../investigation-morris-costumes/
While I personally did not catch anything on film I was a witness to some spooky shenanigans and rather chatty spirits including the founder himself, a stage sound technician, and someone who was ki!!ed in a dr*nk driving accident near the store.
And I learned A LOT of cool stuff about Morris Costumes, its founder Phillip Morris, Dr Evil, and... Bigfoot!
I can conclude that the store is indeed haunted.
If you don't believe me, go to the very back of the store and look up. What you will see are dozens of full adult size bunny costume heads lining the aisles along with other animal costume heads. Go back there and just gaze up into the blank stares of the bunnies.
There is one in particular that will send you running to the front of the store and out the door.
What makes it different? Based purely on appearance - Nothing.
Based on the chills raising goosebumps on my arms and back of my neck and a tightening in my solar plexus - A Lot!
And that also happens to be the spot where the team received a lot of feedback via a spirit box, Q&A with light rope, and overall atmosphere from what seemed to be (based on answers) someone who was unalived on the streets outside the store from a d^unk driving accident. We did not get a name but lots of sadness from this spirit.
STAY TUNED for more tales from the Morris Costumes paranormal investigation with #SpookyCLT and #charlotteareaparanormalsociety .
