News Alert!!!

My apologies. I know my last newsletter in March was a tad cryptic.
Well, the hubby and I pulled off a miracle! Something we have not managed to do since we married almost 26 years ago.
For context, my silver wedding anniversary (25th) was spent last year at a glorious romantic getaway in...
Detroit!
Yep, you read that right! Detroit! And it was spent at the Michigan International Speedway for the Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) competition where we cheered on our son's collegiate team as they competed against other college teams from around the world. We also cooked meals for 30+ students so while we loved being there to support our kid, the trip was a bit lacking in the romance department so I called dibs on a re-do this year and the hubster really met the challenge and surpassed with flying colors.
For 14 days we relaxed, romanced, ate, slept, prayed, etc. as we toured Spain and Portugal!!! Trip of a lifetime and well worth the 26 years wait!
So that's where I was for the last couple of weeks, but now I'm back and ready to start a new journey.
It's the new journey that I wish to update you on.
While I am still writing (slowly but surely as I navigate a difficult story), my primary focus over the next few months (at least until the end of this year and quite possibly beyond) will be my book editing business.
What does that mean?
Newsletters will go back to once/month and there will be no new books published for the foreseeable future as I do not want to rush this new story as it is so close to my heart.
With that said, I promise not to vanish into thin air, but you will be hearing from me less. I promise to still provide you with reading recommendations, especially in the paranormal romance and paranormal women's fiction genres. And I promise to update if my sideline screenplay writing takes flight or crashes and burns.
So, it's not farewell, friends! It's...
Nos vemos pronto!
