Summertime ~ Great for reading! Not so great for writing.

Can I please, please, pretty please be sent to wherever this is so I can gaze off to the ocean's horizon, bask in the sunshine and beautiful scenery, & READ IN PEACE?!
As a kid I was never bored during the summer, unlike some children I know now~ my own rug rats! Why? Because my mom made sure I never experienced a shortage of books to read! Weekly, sometimes bi-weekly, visits to the library because honestly, there was no way my folks could afford to feed my book habit.
I can get a houseful of books stacked to the ceiling and be content, but my kids... well, let's just say I'm beginning to doubt they are mine. I can't really complain. They keep busy other ways that keep them otherwise out of trouble... mostly.
Now, I need to be writing because that's kinda my groove. I write paranormal and fantasy romance books, particularly when it involved angels and demons, heaven versus hell stuff. But summer comes around and... I just want to read! All that writing puts a huge dent in my reading time and that is just not cool at all. Thankfully, my editor lets me slack but gives me a hard time about it even if she does have the same obsession.
So Falling for the Devil may have to wait a teensy bit longer while I finish reading every single KF Breene and CN Crawford book I can get my hands on.
