⚠️⚠️Important parking info for the Organ Pipes Classic!
May 01, 2024 7:37 am
Hi ,
🙏Please carpool this weekend!!🙏
Our Organ Pipes Classic (Sunday May 5) is SOLD OUT! and parking is extremely limited at our Event Hub (The Springs, Pinnacle Road).
To avoid completely running out and leaving none for the public, every car must have at least 2 runners (preferably 3!) if parking at The Springs.
So please arrange to carpool with your run club mates, family or make some new friends! Head to the kunanyi Trail Series Runners' Community on Facebook to find others to drive with.
Warm up hike
Alternate parking complete with a warm up hike is available at a few unsigned roadside bend gravel areas below The Springs, between Woods Track and Shoebridge bend. Then hike up Fingerpost or Shoebridge, then Lenah Valley Tracks. Or park at Fern Tree and hike up from there.
Drivers parking at The Springs
If you have at least 2 runners in your car and must park at The Springs, please:
✅ adhere to the parking signs
✅ park behind yellow lines
❌ don't park in the 1hr parking zone at Lost Freight (you'll get a ticket!)
❌ don't park over yellow lines
❌ don't park in no standing sign zones
Council does patrol the carparks and our permits don't give us (or you!) any special parking rights, so please follow the signs! Thank you!
Thank you 🙏
Unable to make it?
We still have around 25 people waiting patiently on the waitlist!
So if your plans have changed, please email us by 8pm Thursday to request a transfer. We can transfer you to the Tolosa Half/Quarter or Mini in August, or our new Knockers event in October so you can still #runwithkunanyi! Sorry, transfers are not available after 8pm Thursday per the rego policies you've signed up to.
The weather is looking good (although very brisk so be sure to bring your warm clothes for check in prior to the run, and to hang around after & enjoy our BBQ brekkie, chats & presentations).
