Congratulations and thanks to everyone who ran our Knockers events yesterday!

What an experience to run those incredible trails at Twilight, and at Night, as the animals came out to feed, the sun set behind kunanyi, and the city lights twinkled below.

Our 2024 Champions of kunanyi

With the final event of the year, it of course meant that we crowned our Champions of kunanyi for both the Enduro & Sport categories.

This is not just about who's always the fastest, but rather, who consistently turns up, and has a good run with kunanyi.

Congratulations to our 2024 Champions of kunanyi:

Enduro Male & Female: David Bailey & Mikayla Ireland

Sport Male & Female: Oliver McAdie & Jess McDonald

And a note just to say that Ollie's actually in the Under 15 category but stepped up against the Open runners this year🙌

As you'll have noticed, our events have some of the best volunteers in the business! We're incredibly lucky to have a fabulous crew, with many of them volunteering at every single one of our events.

Thank you team, with a special shout-out to our core crew of Will, Jane, Scott and Mainy, who do a stack of work between events and are consistently first on site and last to leave at every event 🙏🙏🙏

As we wrap up the 2024 Series, we also want to really highlight the importance of our partners, most of which are local Tassie businesses. They are all great supporters of trail running, in their own special way, and as a community, we are lucky to have them doing what they do.

So do what you can, and support them as you can too:

Our 2025 Series revealed

If you were at our Knockers presentations, you'll have heard that we're putting the last leg of our 2025 Series to the people!

We'll have more on this in coming days, but we will want to hear your preferences before we decide.

Will it be Knockers again, Waterworks, or Cascade Slide?

Plus we're stoked to head to Mt Nelson for the first time, and in September!

So pop these dates in the calendar now, and we'll let you know when entries are open.

Wow, what a ride! Thanks so much for choosing to #runwithkunanyi with us this year. We feel so lucky to be a part of Tassie's trail running community.

And remember, you don't have to wait until May to run with us again, entries for the 2025 kunanyi Mountain Run (in March) are open!
