What a magical weekend! For those who were able to join us, we hope you absolutely loved your kMR experience.

Whether you had a walk or #runwithkunanyi, supported your runner, learnt and heard stories of the mountain, or you volunteered!

Later this week, you will receive an email from Myriad Research with a survey about this weekend's event. We'd love you to put those feet up, to take about 5 minutes to fill it out.

We also want to say an extra special thanks to our community.

That includes the Tasmanian Aboriginal community for embracing us, welcoming us, and sharing stories and your cultural knowledge, as well as others like the City of Hobart teams.

And of course our community also includes our incredible volunteer crew.

We had more than 250 volunteers across the weekend! They gave up hours of their own time to mark & sweep the course, work at aid stations, direct and cheer runners on (cowbells in hand!), check runners in, sell merch, take photos and videos, clean toilets, pick up rubbish and so, so much more!

And it includes all our partners, especially our Presenting Partner Salomon, who again brought us the Golden Trail National Series; Australia's only fully-supported pathway for elite trail runners to compete on the global stage.

Your #kMR2025 Photos

We had a team of dedicated, and very talented, volunteer photographers out on course to capture your run with kunanyi - which means you'll be able to download them for FREE.

They're still working through the thousands of pics they took, so please be patient and we'll email you again once they're ready early this week.

We're back in 2026

Save the date! We can't wait to return next year, for what will be our FIFTH kunanyi Mountain Run.

Mark the 27-29 March into your calendars now and share with friends and family who you want to come walk or #runwithkunanyi!

Entries will open later this year and don't worry, we'll let you know in advance!

We know that lots of you are on the #kMR high now too and we're loving seeing your stories across socials!
