Hi ,
We are only half-way through the month of March, but I’ve been busy adding to the course library – and as you may have seen, the webpage underwent a complete makeover. 😎😎😎
In talking with several teachers, there was a need for AP test prep material. So, what I did for both Language & Literature is go back to 2015 and create writing workshops for all three questions. In these folders, as is the case with all the others, you’ll find several quasi-Bob Ross videos whereby I “paint” with you and your students through a particular essay demonstrating how my templates and heuristics can be applied to that particular prompt. At present … there are over 150 videos spanning across all expository modes (literary analysis, rhetorical analysis, argument, persuasion, synthesis, and research) and each video comes with an editable PowerPoint for your classroom use. Further, the literary analysis folder contains videos for the fifty most commonly taught novels and plays in the American high school curriculum. But most importantly, I’m adding to the library on a weekly basis.
But I have more exciting news!😁😁😁
Several of you have mentioned that you’d love to take the Masterclass but are leery of the time commitment. Well, I came up with a solution and created a self-paced course. In this course, there are ten video lessons that encapsulate the entire content and curriculum of the traditional Masterclass, but you can tackle things at your own convenience.
As we head into exam season, I will be hosting webinars to demonstrate how my templates and heuristics can universally be used to tackle both of the AP exams. This Thursday at 8 EST, I will begin with AP Literature & Composition.
Wishing you well.
Happy teaching and happy writing,
