Test-prep season is rapidly approaching, so I sat down this week to make a few explainer videos.
Not sure about your students, but many of my writers find ingenious (unwittingly) ways to bungle up FRQ3, so I thought it best to start here.
In the video, I demonstrate (while breaking down a number of student exemplars) how to construct the entire essay with two easy frames (the inverted thesis heuristic and the syllogistic method).
Sit back and enjoy this one ... my students will write the entire essay right before your eyes while I call the play-by-play.
Look in the video's description box for access to the slide deck.
Happy teaching and happy writing!
