In today's writing workshop video, I "Bob Ross" how to construct an FRQ 2-Style rhetorical analysis of Tyfanee Fortuna's hilarious Pet-Finder advertisement in which she skillfully tries to pawn off her demonic foster dog, Prancer.
From start to finish, I "paint" a number of declarative theses and syllogistic body paragraphs so that the entire process is completely demystified for teacher and student.
There are even a few conclusion paragraphs that spotlight a couple of my sentence stems. So, by the end of the video writing workshop, students should know how to cobble together this particular rhetorical analysis essay from start to finish all while pulling the strings of my heuristics.
In the description of the video, you can find the text as well as a link to download all of the writing workshop slides.
Happy teaching and happy writing!
