Masterclass Open Enrollment

Last week I closed the book on year twenty in the classroom, and since then, I have immediately settled into the soft stasis of summer living. 

There’s nothing like sleeping in, sipping a cup of coffee at my desired pace, and taking my time through my daily yoga routine. 

There’s no rush. Just a nice calm peace to letting the day do what it’s inclined to do of its own accord.

But we are teachers and there is always the nagging reminder that something is always on the horizon. Summer is temporary, and to be prepared for what I want to be my best year yet, I need to start plugging away gradually but determinedly.

And I know that I am not alone in these sentiments. In this downtime, we need to prepare for a return to a new year so that we can give the best of ourselves – something our students deserve.
