As we come upon a much-needed break from the daily grind, I just wanted to say thank you and wish you a very happy and restful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Heaven knows it’s much deserved.
Further, I wanted to follow up with some information about Part II of my Taylor Swift unit.
I have watched the video several times, and I find myself saying … “geez, that’s a lot of ‘F’ bombs!”
For the most part, I teach in a rather liberal district, but this kind of toes the line.
And Lord knows, in today’s classroom, nobody wants parents and administrators barking up your tree.
So, I’ve decided to play it safe and not offer the rhetorical analysis of the video.
But in saying that, if you want for me to look over your shoulder while you construct a writing workshop, I’m more than happy to do that.
And further, with regards to the literary analysis writing workshop i sent out the other day of "All Too Well," the original version of the song is 100% clean and language safe.
