Now that the school year is done and over, I’m honoring my commitments to offer a few webinars and workshops to various school districts and departments.
I love this part of my job … reigniting the spark for teachers who are so utterly burnt out and at their wits end … dreading … already … the coming 2021-2022 school year.
Yikes! That’s not a good feeling for anyone … but it’s especially not the type of energy our students deserve.
So, let’s see if we can find the love again!
Here’s some feedback I received the other day from a teacher who is ready and raring to go after having taken my Masterclass:
I attended Kristian’s workshop Wednesday evening and immediately fell in love with his methods for grading. He’s way outside of the box, but he’s on to something. On Thursday, I did his 100, 90, 80, 70 Roulette Writing Workshop with my junior’s Gatsby essays. They loved the experience and I can honestly say that this method provided 1000 times better feedback than the traditional methods I typically use. My students knew exactly how to revise, their strengths and weaknesses, and where they stood grade wise.
I’m sold on these templates and heuristics. My freshmen are just beginning their Romeo & Juliet essays and I introduced them today to the syllogistic method. They get it!! They so are getting it!! I’m so impressed with their first drafts.
I’ve been in the classroom for seven years and I always felt like something was missing from my writing toolbox. What I needed was workable templates for my students. I took Kristian’s course and the lightbulb went off. He’s on to something with his methods. They really work and I’m seeing immediate benefits. The course is quick and painless. The instruction is clear. Easy peasy.
The next Masterclass will run from July 12th – 16th. We will meet for five consecutive days from 11 a.m. EST – noon followed by daily Q&A. There are still a few seats available. If you book before June 30th, you can receive a $100 discount.
Reach out should you have any questions or wish to schedule a discovery call.
Happy teaching and happy writing!
Kristian
