A little poetry, a little light — let’s celebrate Diwali together

Dear

There’s so much happening around us these days — so much noise, rushing, and worry.

This Diwali, I found myself craving something simple — a little light, a little peace, and a little joy.

And for me, joy has always come through poetry.

That’s how the idea for Rangoli Rhymes was born — a small, happy space where we can pause for a few minutes each day, pick up our pens, and let our words dance like rangoli patterns of light.

From October 20th to 24th, I’ll be sharing a daily poetry prompt inspired by Diwali — its colours, warmth, and celebrations.

You can write a short poem (up to 20 lines) and send it in by 8 pm each evening.

There’ll be daily winners and one Grand Winner, of course — but more than prizes, I hope you’ll find a few moments of calm, connection, and creativity. 🌼

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never written a poem before.

If you can feel, observe, and smile — you can write.

So come, join me for Rangoli Rhymes

let’s fill this Diwali with words that shine as bright as diyas. 🪔
