Ring by spring! 💍💐
Apr 24, 2024 12:00 pm
Happy Wednesday !
Have you ever heard the term "ring by spring"? It's a tradition at many Christian colleges where couples get engaged before they graduate. My middle son has been dating his girlfriend for almost five years. They are high school sweethearts and she will graduate from college in December of this year. They got engaged last week and I'm so happy to be gaining another daughter-in-law! They already have a date and venue picked for next spring.
For the past few months, I've been traveling a lot with my daughter for volleyball. We've been to South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Florida, Kentucky, and this weekend, we're heading to Tennessee.
So, needless to say, I haven't been writing very much, but I'm itching to get back into my WIP. I actually have two books I'm working on, which is the next book in the It's A Love Thing series. I hope to have some teasers to share with you soon. I've also started a new book about a sports writer who goes to the Olympics and meets an athlete who becomes smitten with her right away. Right now, it's a fun idea in my head, and I really hope it comes to life. Time will tell!
If you are on Instagram, I'm hosting an ebook giveaway to celebrate World Book Day. Hop over there and enter to win. The giveaway closes on Thursday.
Lastly, don't miss the two new releases I have for you today.
Have a wonderful week!

Alayna Sullivan is one of the hardest workers at the corporate office of Rolland Myers. Every boss she’s ever had praised her for her exemplary work ethic. But that all changes when she meets her new supervisor, Jasper Garrison, on his first day at the office. Her casual attire lands her in hot water, earning her a reprimand for violating the company's dress code.
When Jasper Garrison moves to Los Angeles to take on the role of supervisor, he’s intent on proving himself. He believes Alayna has received more favoritism than she deserves, and he decides to rectify the situation.
As tensions simmer between them, the vice president of the company sends Alayna and Jasper to a team-building conference. Forced into close proximity, they grow to admire each other, and their feelings begin to change. They must navigate the fine line between professionalism and the desire for a relationship they can never have.
Will they give in to their feelings or will they let fear dictate their actions?
*This is a contemporary Christian story with strong Biblical themes and Bible references.
The Billionaire's Wife

I never questioned my decision to marry Faith the day she turned eighteen.
She needed to get out of her situation at home and, at nineteen, I already knew everything about everything, so in my mind it made perfect sense. We’d been pals for years.
I loved her.
She had no idea.
But she was desperate for somebody to rescue her, and a marriage of convenience with me was a better—safer—choice than anything else she could find.
Since I lived away at college, no one even had to know. It worked great until the end of the semester.
And then she walked out.
And I let her.
I occasionally do some digging, just to check that she’s okay. And every now and then I think about the divorce papers I drew up but never sent.
Now she’s here. Literally on my doorstep. Begging me, once again, for help.
And I hate that I still love her.
Even after fourteen years.
