Happy Thursday !

I can't believe it's already the end of October! This month certainly flew by. I'm happy to report that I have written three new chapters in my current WIP. I count this a huge accomplishment because I've been in somewhat of a writing funk the past few months. I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted this story to play out, but it's coming together nicely, and I'm excited about these new characters and I think you'll love Brock and Marlowe--not to mention revisiting the town of River Ridge, North Carolina.

While my original goal was to publish this book before the end of the year, at this point, I'm just trying to finish it by the end of the year. The main reason is that I have something exciting coming up for 2025 that I'll tell you about soon.

What is your favorite trope to read? One of my favorites is second-chance romance. There's just something about a couple sparking their love for each other again. Hurricane Helene recovery efforts are still in full force here in Western North Carolina. I'm so proud of how my state and community have stepped up to the plate to support those affected by the storm. My church and workplace have been working diligently to provide support to these areas, but this is going to be a long road to recovery. The need is great and winter is approaching quickly.
