Do you want to know what I've been working on?

Happy Thursday !

I mentioned a few weeks ago I've been working on some non-writing projects. As much as I would like to say I've written an entire book, and I'm ready to publish, sadly, that's not the case. But I have been up to something fun.

Crafting and creativity have always come naturally to me. Since I was a little girl, I have always made something--Shrinky Dinks, hairbows, melting beads, friendship bracelets, you name it. Fast forward to adulthood, where I've made scrapbooks of my kids and family, bath salts, soap, journals, tile art, and so much more.

Back in 2011, I started doing graphic design when a friend asked me to use my digital scrapbooking software to make a logo for her business. I've come a long way from the Creative Memories software to now using Adobe Illustrator. Lol! So when the Apple Pencil came out for the iPad years ago, I went from hand lettering with paper and pen to drawing on the iPad.

What started out as various doodles and words have now turned into more. Since illustrated covers are so trendy right now, I decided to try my hand and draw a cover for myself. I loved how it turned out and ended up recovering my first novel, Holding On to Someday. Then other authors started asking if I'd be interested in drawing a cover for them.

My secret projects are now all released, and I'm happy to have worked with some amazing authors!

Roping the Cowboy Next Door

by June B. Anderson

*Kindle Unlimited*

When God closes one door, Casey just opens another one.

Casey Britt receives an unbelievable offer to ranch swap. The opportunity would give her more animals, land, and a chance to skip out on Mississippi’s bad memories. Who could say no to that? With the help of her best friend, she packs up her favorite cow, horse, and every possession she owns in the world. Then she makes her way to the middle of Nowhere, Wyoming. And bonus! Casey’s new ranch comes with the cutest cowboy neighbor, and she’s ready to convince him she’s there to stay.

Beckett Young is eager to expand his ranch when the neighbor next door moves. But when the owner sells it to a hillbilly nobody, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of her. When she sweeps into his life with a sad-sob backstory, more Southern charm than is legal, and everything he wants in a woman, his defenses are as weak as his chances of winning the property.

Are his desires to expand as big or important as the desire of his heart? Which one will win?image

I've read all of Mandi's books, and this one is my new favorite!
