Happy Wednesday !

I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. I'm not ready! lol! I've only bought Christmas presents for my granddaughter, so I need to get on the ball so I'm not feeling so rushed this year. (But let's be real, I say this exact same thing each year and fail to plan earlier.)

Do you have your Christmas tree up yet?

I had my very first book event a couple of weeks ago (and didn't take a single picture 🤦🏼‍♀️), but it was so much fun sharing my books with everyone. I have a good number of paperbacks left over, so I'm probably going to run some Christmas specials and giveaways on my social media pages. Make sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram.

I have some great books to share with you today, and also a fun Advent Calendar my author friend Emily Dana Botrous is hosting in December. I'll be featured for one of the days!

“This bud of love, by summer's ripening breath,

May prove a beauteous flower when next we meet.”

When seventeen-year-old Sam and Lil are cast as Romeo and Juliet, their onstage chemistry echoes the real connection growing between them offstage. But their story is far from simple. With Sam’s father’s strict anti-dating stance, the fragile health of his sister Annabelle, and their shared desire to honor their values, their budding romance faces serious obstacles.

Forced to make the hardest decision of their young lives, Sam and Lil choose to walk away—believing it's for the best.

As the years pass, life continues to pull them together at unexpected moments, stirring memories, regrets, and the question that never quite fades: what if?

In this poignant YA/NA crossover romance told in dual point-of-view, This Bud of Love explores the quiet strength of faith, the beauty of second chances, and the enduring power of a love that never truly let go.

Thor

If there’s one thing the Marines taught me, it’s that you don’t quit until you’ve completed your mission. Or you die trying. And by the way Clover Mason keeps shooting fire at me from those violet-colored eyes of hers, it just may be the latter. But like me or not, her Hollywood producer father hired me to protect her, and I will risk my life before letting any harm come to the grumpy recluse.

Clover

Sometimes I wish I were as brave as the heroines in the books I edit for clients. That doesn’t mean I’m ready for a six-foot, tattooed, red-head bodyguard who thinks he’s God’s gift to women shadowing my every move. But Daddy refuses to fire him, claiming that I’m not safe, and unless I want the entire neighborhood to see the large Viking lounging on his motorcycle outside my house 24/7, I’m going to have to let him in my home.

But when very real danger threatens to upheave my quiet life, I realize that Thor is the only one who can keep me safe.

A second chance with the single dad might seem like fate—but he’s exactly what I should avoid.

I’ve loved Ethan Bishop since freshman year— the day we met at a high school basketball game. Those five years together? Unforgettable. He was my first love, my one and only. But while I was wild at heart, his presence kept me grounded—until his family decided I wasn’t good enough for him.

My life unraveled the day he walked away, chasing his dreams while I took a detour to rehabilitation. It’s been twelve years, and I’ve pieced my life back together. I’ve moved on. Or so I thought. Then I run into him at a venue where I’m performing. That dimpled smile? It still sends my heart into a frenzy, stirring up feelings I thought I’d buried deep.

And our story? It’s far from over. I’ve just moved to Meadowbrook—the small town Ethan calls home. He’s a widower now, a devoted dad and the town’s beloved pastor. When he asks me to teach piano lessons to his kids, saying no isn’t even an option. Soon, the lines between us blur, as old feelings crash back as if no time has passed at all.

But the whispers and side-eyes in church are all too familiar. I wasn’t good enough for Ethan then. What makes me think I am now? As old wounds resurface, I have to wonder—will Ethan stay with me this time, or are we destined to be torn apart once more?

imageAccused of stealing her first edition Austen. Guilty of stealing her heart.

Rowan Calder arrives in Redemption Ridge trading the rodeo circuit for a quiet life training Ethan Thorn's thoroughbreds. He needs peace, anonymity, and distance from a past that won't let him go. Everything changes when someone breaks into Penelope Colagreco's cottage and steals her priceless set of Jane Austen books.

The chronically late, disaster-prone bookstore clerk who trips over her own feet and reorganizes bookshelves when nervous shouldn't make Rowan want to stick around. But Penelope's infectious laugh and endearing quirks have him reconsidering everything. The problem? The entire town decides he's the most plausible suspect in her theft.

Now Rowan faces an impossible choice: run and confirm everyone's suspicions, or stay and risk exposing the very past that drove him from the rodeo world. Meanwhile, Penelope must decide if the cowboy who steadies her when she stumbles might be more dangerous than he lets on. Or if the real thief is still out there, watching them as they work to uncover the truth.
