Happy Thursday !

The countdown is on. This year has been a season of celebrating "lasts" for my family. Next week, my youngest child is graduating from high school (last kid). She also played in her last club volleyball tournament earlier this month, she will dance in her last dance recital this coming weekend, and we celebrated the last, last day of school with her yesterday. My mama heart is a little overwhelmed with all of these milestones coming to an end. It's bittersweet, but I do look forward to what the next four years will hold as she goes on to college to play volleyball and earn a degree in education.

Last month, my middle child got married and moved out of the house. So my husband and I are getting ready to be empty nesters.

That said, because of all these celebrations and lasts, I'm still on my writing hiatus but getting ready to come out of it. I've been itching to work on my book for months now, only getting small opportunities to edit a chapter here and there. But I've also given myself grace, knowing I'm soaking up these "lasts" with my family.

Hopefully, the next time I email you, I'll have a teaser from my WIP to share with you. For now, enjoy this new release book I have for you and check out the book promotions below.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Healing by the Sea

by Evangeline Kelly

*Kindle Unlimited*

She thought her heart had already weathered the worst. She wasn’t prepared for what came next.

Two years after a sudden tragedy, Danica is still piecing her life back together. Just as she’s unexpectedly forced to find new housing, she comes into contact with her late fiancé’s siblings—Riley and Cameron—who’ve returned to California after inheriting their aunt’s beach house. They offer Danica a temporary place to stay, but what begins as a practical solution quickly becomes something far more complicated.

Cameron only met Danica twice—at his brother’s engagement party and funeral—but he’s never forgotten her. The connection he felt back then resurfaces with startling intensity, and this time, it’s impossible to ignore. He tries to push her away, but he can’t resist their connection. As both he and Danica struggle with the undeniable bond growing between them, they have to navigate the shifting lines between grief, guilt, and longing.

But not everyone believes their relationship should exist. Riley is determined to protect her late brother’s memory—and she’s willing to do anything to keep Danica and Cameron apart, including severing ties.

Caught between honoring the past and embracing the future, will they follow their hearts—or let someone else's grief decide their fate?

Blending Christian fiction, forbidden love, and beachside romance, this is a heartfelt story of courage, healing, and the strength it takes to choose love after loss.
