Happy Wednesday !
The past month has been a whirlwind around here. We had several inches of snow, more wintry weather almost every weekend, but this past Saturday it was 70 degrees! I spent most of the day outside and I even got a sunburn on my face it was so warm. (Not sure why I forget about sunscreen in the winter???) Wearing a short-sleeved shirt only made me long for summer even more. I'm not a fan of the cold. But the very next day it was back in the 30's, so it was only a temporary tease of the warm weather.
It's also been a month since my last book was released and I've heard so many great things from many of you about Cort & Elle's story. If you haven't read it yet, I'm giving you a chance to win the book!
Several of you have asked, so I've decided to host an exclusive giveaway for my newsletter subscribers only! In honor of LOVE WEEK, I'm giving away a paperback copy of my latest love story - Waiting for Right Now!
All you have to do to **enter is reply to this email and tell me what you did for Valentine's Day!
**Entries for the paperback are only available to those in the United States. However, if you live outside the US, I will award the winner a $15 Amazon Gift Card instead.
Retying the Knot
by Liwen Y. Ho
If your marriage didn’t work out once, marry the same person again … said no couple ever.
Piper
Here’s the scoop—I married my former study partner for money’s sake. I promise you it’s not as bad as it sounds. Peter needed a wife in order to receive his dad’s inheritance … so I did what any friend would do, I said yes.
Peter
A marriage on paper—that’s all the guts I had to ask for. Of course, if Piper had wanted more, I would’ve gladly given her myself and all the puppies and chocolate in the world. Instead, I surprised her by paying off her med school bills, then took my broken heart and moved to another country.
Piper
So, here’s the part that does sound bad. I got pregnant (the details of our wedding night are a bit fuzzy). His mom hated me (still does). And we left our baby to be raised by her over-the-top grandmother when we parted ways. I told you it was bad. But now Peter’s reaching out to me and it’s making me wonder ...
Peter
Do I have regrets? Absolutely! Turning forty made me realize I can't waste a chance to make things right with the two most important women in my life. I’ve reunited with our daughter and now it’s time to win over Piper. If only she wasn’t already engaged to another man ...
The Fab Forties series was written by an over-40 author with readers of all ages in mind. This rom-com is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone and help you escape reality. So, sit back, relax, and be prepared to laugh!
Her Mistletoe Mistake
by Franky A. Brown
She kissed the wrong guy under the mistletoe.
Now she’s snowed in with him.
Ski instructor Chloe Hughes should have been nicer to the charming but misguided military man who thought skiing would just come naturally to him—especially since he ends up at her friend’s Christmas party. Flirting with someone else all night seems like the perfect solution, until she accidentally kisses the wrong man when the lights go out.
No part of Nathan Silver’s military training prepared him for being accidentally kissed by the irresistible Chloe, let alone being snowed-in with her. Unfortunately, the man she’d intended to kiss under the mistletoe is snowed-in with them too. But given how Nathan’s past relationships have gone, it’s probably best to let that kiss stay a mistake.
A mistletoe mistake promises to make Christmas in a small Colorado town one they’ll never forget. But can they trust the road that leads to true love?
In Search of A Prince

It seems like a dream come true . . . until it forces her to question everything.

Distraught by all the secrets her mother kept, Brielle is further left spinning when the Ọlọrọ Ilé Royal Council brings up an old edict that states she must marry before her coronation, or the crown will pass to another.
