How far can you travel in two weeks?

Happy Wednesday !
I'm in Orlando, FL this week with my daughter for the AAU National Volleyball Championships. Today she plays in the gold championship bracket at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. It's a big game and I'm so excited for her and her team. Next week, we travel to Indianapolis for the JVA National Volleyball Championships.
Needless to say, I plan to enjoy some well deserved downtime during the month of July. I also plan to catch up on some words for The Thing About Falling in Love. I'm a little over halfway in the book and I really want to release it this year. My busy schedule has made it hard this year, but things will slow down a bit very soon.
I love Turner and Brynn's characters and I think you'll love them too! Plus, I'm getting to show off a little bit of my neck of the woods since this book is set in the NC mountains and several locations" close to me. (Remember, I like to write fictional town based on real locations).
Until next time, check out these new releases and enter to win a $25 gift card in the book promotion below.
The Promises of Picnics
by Emily Dana Botrous
*Kindle Unlimited*
An ex-con youth pastor. A single mom who won’t step foot in church. A match made in heaven? They don’t think so.
A pastor? Not for Lisa Appleton. She’s not exactly on speaking terms with the Almighty, nor is she remotely interested in giving love another chance. So she’s a little ticked when her matchmaking friend tries to set her up with the new youth pastor in town. But when an emergency leaves her and her three daughters temporarily homeless, Pastor Ric warmly opens his doors.
Ricardo de Leon paid for the mistakes of his past—for seven years without freedom. A changed man, he never dreamed transitioning to a small town—and new culture—would be this hard. Since he has dedicated himself in service to God and God alone, he doesn’t think twice before lending a helping hand to Lisa, who makes her distrust of him clear.
What neither of them counted on? Falling in love.
Almost Everything

*Kindle Unlimited*
Her fairytale ending turns into a disaster. Can her brother’s best friend convince her that she was chasing the wrong happily ever after?
Everly Cooper had it all. A successful fiancé, a dream home being built, and the life she always wanted away from the spotlight. And then it all crashed and burned… publicly, and her brother’s best friend, Blake, was all too eager to race to her rescue.
Blake Lawson left the world of professional football for the small town life five years ago. His friend, Ridge, needed help, and being closer to Everly was more than just a bonus. He’d been silently in love with his best friend’s sister for years. He had everything he could possibly want, except her.
Blake refuses to watch her cry over a man who didn’t deserve her. He’s ready to fess up to Everly and show her how a real man treats the woman he loves.
When Blake's plan to win her heart backfires, he’ll have to figure out what loving someone really means before he loses Everly forever.
The Billionaire's Best Friend
by Elizabeth Maddrey
*Kindle Unlimited*
You ever meet someone and have that immediate click? That was Kayla and me. First day of our first teaching jobs and we both just knew we were going to be best friends forever.
And we are.
She does a great job keeping me down to earth—a skill I appreciate even more now that I’m a billionaire.
Except lately, it’s like she’s pulling away.
It started with her spending more time with my sister instead of hanging out with me. And now she’s starting to date the youth pastor?
It could be that I’m a little jealous. Seems like everyone is falling in love except me. But I don’t think that’s it.
Because it feels like I’m in danger of losing a lot more than my best friend and I don’t know how to make it stop.
