I finally get to tell you this...

Happy Thursday !
I've been busy with writing the past month and I have some exciting news to share. The Thing About Falling In Love is almost finished! I have been working on this book for about four years now and it's been a labor of love/hate. This was originally supposed to be the first book in the It's A Love Thing series, but the story just didn't settle well with me, so I stopped writing it. I moved on to Mistletoe Kisses and said I'd come back to Falling In Love after I released that one. Nope. I then went on to write Blind Dates and have avoided Falling In Love for months.
But I can finally say I've turned over a new leaf with this book and I love it! I'm so excited to share Brynn & Turner's story with you and I really think you'll love it. I haven't set a release date yet, but I'm hoping for late summer or early fall. My newsletter readers have exclusive first dibs on all information, so you'll be the first to know.
Here's your first teaser from the book. When I wrote this the other day, I had to go back and highlight it because I loved it so much!
Steady.
That’s what Turner has become without me even realizing it.
This steady presence in my life that I didn’t know I needed.
I'm almost ready to share the cover with you. Be on the lookout for it here first!
In other news, my husband and I just got back from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic where we celebrated our 30th Anniversary (it's coming up in June) with our first international trip. It was amazing and so relaxing! Our travel agent knocked this one out of the park.
Have a wonderful week!
Reality Show with An Alaskan Man
by Evangeline Kelly
The goal was simple: win the game and don’t get attached—but Alaska had a way of complicating everything.
Helene sometimes feels invisible, but with her sister's medical bills piling up, joining a reality survival show in the Alaskan wilderness seems like the only answer. If she wins the prize money, she can help her sister and finally prove to herself and everyone else that she has what it takes.
Theo has his own reasons for needing to win. The adventure store he’s dreamed about for years isn’t going to fund itself, and he can't afford any distractions, especially from Helene, the graceful woman who approaches him on the first day. When Helene is assigned to his team, he’s determined to keep her at arm’s length, but his best intentions falter when staying distant causes even more problems.
As the walls between them begin to fall, they realize their bond might be just as dangerous as it is irresistible. When something big happens during one of the competitions, threatening the team’s unity, they're forced to pull back, even as every instinct draws them closer.
When it's all over, the distance between them feels just as daunting as the Alaskan terrain. Theo sees a future worth risking everything for, but Helene won’t let him jeopardize his dream, even if it means walking away. They have to fight the wilderness, but love becomes the hardest challenge of all.
