I'm all snowed out ☃️

Happy Thursday !

While January seemed like the longest month ever, it was full of wintry surprises for us. I live in North Carolina, and it's been several years since we've had snow. In fact, the last "big" snow I remember was back in 2014. (Big snow for us is 5-6 inches--don't laugh--we don't live in a frequently snowy area). We had two winter storms back-to-back, which made the month drag on even longer since we were snowed in for several days. It was pretty to look at, but I'm ready for Spring and 70 degrees.

Storm 1 (the photo above) brought about an inch of snow, but mostly sleet and ice. While storm 2, the very next weekend, brought about 8 inches of snow for us where we live.

Of course, it's tradition in the South to make snow cream, so I included my obligatory photo of my bowl of creamy, fluffy goodness.

Now, on to book stuff. I've read a lot over the past few weeks, while being snowed in. One of my favorite books is an upcoming release from Molly Barlowe. It's the third in the Huntley Square Series, and I seriously think it's my favorite of the bunch! This book releases on February 17, but you can preorder now.

I finished up a book cover series project with an author collab last month, and I can't wait to share these covers with you (and read this new series). I'll share more details when this collab launches.

I'm still working on Brynn and Turner's story, but I've got to be honest, my heart is with the new book I'm planning for this year. Every time I want to sit down and write, it's in the new book instead of finishing the story I need to finish. I hope you'll be as excited about this new series as soon as I can plan and plot a little more to share the details with you. Stay tuned!

Have a wonderful week and Happy (early) Valentine's Day!
