I was at work this morning discussing with some of my colleagues,

And all of a sudden, I became the topic of discussion.

Before I knew what was happening, the discussion veered off into a tailspin of confusion and discouragement.

And before I could take control of the situation, their words had begun to get to me...

And I will tell you all about what we were discussing in just a minute.

But first, here's something I have wanted to tell you for a while now before I forget again,

And I would like for you to pay serious attention to what I am about to tell you because it's that important!

By now, you should know that you need to learn a digital skill especially if you want to succeed in the internet space.

That is no longer news.

But then, while it is very good for you to learn a lot and acquire a lot of knowledge about a (your) skill,

You will not get results without doing this one thing.

This one thing is just a NINE letter word.

And while I have told you to do this thing times without number, you may not understand why I keep repeating it.

But after experiencing it myself again this week, I was reminded of just how important doing this NINE letter word is.

And what is this NINE letter word?

IMPLEMENT.

Between 2021 and now, I have bought quite a number of courses and signed up for a lot of trainings,

And one thing that is common about all these trainings is this.

I only get results when I IMPLEMENT.

And just this week, I experienced it again.

I had bought a Facebook Ads course for a long time now (maybe since last year sef, I can't remember).

And I had only tried running an ad once, but it FLOPPED greatly.

I spent about N1500+ (out of the N6000 I funded the ad account with) trying to generate leads,

And I didn't get any leads... Not even one.

And then because the class I was holding was already near, I decided to stop running the ad.

To make matters even worse, the ad account got disabled and I lost access to the remaining money in the ad account.

And so since then, I hadn't run any other ad until this week.

And when I did, this time I got much better results.

Currently, I have generated about 60+ leads and counting,

And I haven't spent up to N4000 yet.

Yes, I know it's not much, but it's not a bad start.

And if I hadn't decided to do that one thing --the 9 letter word (IMPLEMENT)--, I probably would have remained stuck without getting the results I desired so much.

So when I tell you that it's not just about learning, but it's also about implementing what you have learned,

You should know that I know what I am talking about.

There are two main methods of learning.

1. Learning by consuming information i.e by reading, watching videos, attending trainings and workshops, etc.

2. Learning by implementation i.e actually putting what you have learnt to practice.

And the second method is by far the most effective way to learn.

Because when you implement what you learn, you gain experience that is unique to you.

And when you encounter problems --which you definitely will--, and overcome them, you will discover unique solutions.

And even better, you will have a much deeper understanding of the concepts you have learned, all because you have implemented what you learned.

I hope with these few points of mine, I have been able to convince you and not confuse you that you need to implement to learn better and get results.

Speaking about confusion,

I wanted to tell you about the somewhat confusing discussion I was having with my colleague this morning.

But then, this mail is already too long.

So I will do that tomorrow,

Or not.

I don't know.
