Don't be that guy {{contact.first_name}}.

,

It's Monday, the first day of the week.

I'm pumped and ready to go on with my business of the day.

Are you?

You should be.

And without further ado, I am going to dive right into the topic of today.

The third principle of persuasion...

Of the one sentence persuasion course.

Let's quickly revisit that sentence.

"People will do anything for those who will encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicion and help them throw rocks at their enemies."

If you remember correctly, we have talked about two of them...

Which are...

  • "Justify their failures..." (shift the blame off their shoulder) and
  • "Help them throw rocks at their enemies..." (finding a common enemy).

And the next one we will be looking at is...

"Allay their fears..."

One thing your readers or potential customers have to live with everyday...

Is FEAR.

  • Fear of having their problem and the struggles that come with it,
  • Fears of their problems getting worse,
  • Fear of not being able to solve their problems,
  • Fear of not being able to find a solution that works,
  • Fear of the solution not existing at all,

Among other fears that just live rent free in their head.

And as a copywriter or marketer, it's your job to capitalize on those fears to make them take action...

Or to remind them of their fears if they didn't know them before...

But after pushing all their fear buttons, you don't want to just leave them like that... Afraid.

Scared people don't make buying decisions.

So one thing you must make sure you do after showing them their fears...

Is to allay your reader's fears.

Or in other words, pacify/calm their fears.

Trust me when I say, many of your customer have already had people write them and their situations off...

  • They have had people tell them they are doomed...
  • They have had people expect the worst to happen to them...
  • Heck they have even accepted their fate that their fate is sealed.

So you don't want to be one more voice of condemnation...

Telling them there is no hope for them.

Trust me, you don't want to be that guy.

Aside from that too,

Your readers have been scammed in the past.

So they might be afraid of getting scammed by another person again.

Let them know that they can still get a solution to their problem.

Show them proof that your solution has worked for others and that it can work for them too.

Hope is a very powerful emotion that can make people go to the ends of the earth and back for you.

If you use it well, it will bring a pretty good amount of sales in for you.

And that's my cue to leave here and get on with my day.

If you got value from this email, why don't you drop me a comment/review alongside some sunflowers.

I will see you in my next mail.

Daniel.

P.S. I will be making an announcement on here about an information product I will be launching soon.

Don't worry, it's super affordable.

You can afford it in a heartbeat and you won't feel it.

But I can promise you that it is going to be worth at least 5X of your investment.

Cheers!
