What will you do about it {{contact.first_name}}?

,

I had my whole day planned out yesterday.

And I set out to achieve every goal I had set for yesterday which included writing a mail to you before the day ended.

But then your country decided to show me shege.

One of the items on my to-do list was to go to the bank (of course to join the queue there) to get cash after my 8:00am class.

And when I got to the bank around past 10:00am, the queue was even much longer than I anticipated.

There were at least 50+ people if not more.

I joined the queue regardless.

The first nonsense that happened was that the bank said ONLY their customers would be allowed to withdraw up to 5k cash.

Customers from other banks were only allowed a maximum of 2k.

I still stayed because I needed cash to register for a practical course, and they only accepted cash (or so I thought).

All of a sudden, after standing under the rather Scorching sun for close to (or even more than) 3+ hours, the announcement came.

"The money has finished."

I didn't even know whether to cry or laugh.

Plus I still had to go and do some other running around along with my classes for the rest of the day and then rehearsals.

Suffice it to say that by the time I got home in the evening,

My head was ringing with pain.

Matter of fact, if not that I was super hungry, I probably wouldn't have eaten dinner last night.

I just had to sleep it off.

And I ended up not completing my goals for yesterday despite all my planning.

Here's why I told you this little story and what I want you to think about.

I know you probably have your whole life planned out by now.

• Finish school between age 20 and 22 (plus or minus ASSU strike),

• Get a well paying job or start your own business,

• Start making good money,

• Buy a car,

• Build your own house,

• Get married between 25 and 30,

• Have children,

• Yada yada.

But then - and I am not trying to be a prophet of doom or be a pessimist here - but..

What if it doesn't work out according to plan?

What if the government or life or circumstances or situations get in the way and you are not able to do those things at the time you want to do them, or even at all?

What Will You Do About It ?

Are you going to give up?

Try again?

Start all over again?

Do you have a plan B?

Some people think it's wrong to have a plan B.

Because according to them, it means you're giving room for plan A not to work.

But sometimes, before you even get a chance to get plan A up and running, life gets in the way.

What do you do then?

What's it going to be buddy?

I just want you to do some deep thinking.

You can reply your thoughts to me, or not.

But just think about it.

Because you know the kind of country we live in and the kind of leaders we have.

And you know especially from recent happenings...

That they are HELL-BENT on making life difficult for the AVERAGE Nigerian.

Anyways, I'll leave you to your thoughts now.

See you in my next mail.

To your digital success,

King Danisan™.
