It's late, and after another super busy day...


Mostly laden with premium frustration from your very own sweetboy Mark Zuckerberg,


I almost gave up on writing to you today.


But then, I don't want to ruin the learning momentum we have been building up over that past few days.


So right off the bat, we're diving into the business of the day.


Remember the one sentence persuasion course we talked about yesterday?


The one that sounded like this...


"People will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions and help them throw rocks at their enemies."


That sentence contains five major lessons in persuasion...


That if mastered properly, can be used to make people do what you want as if they were hypnotized.


No jokes.


These lessons are known as the 5 Principles of Persuasion.


And these lessons are embedded in the following portions of the one sentence persuasion course...


1 ...encourage their dreams

2 ...justify their failures

3 ...allay their fears

4 ...confirm their suspicion

5 ...help them throw rocks at their enemies


They are arranged in no particular order.


And as you know, we already looked at number 2 up there when we talked about...


"Shifting the blame off your reader's shoulder" in one of the last few mails.


And today, we're going to piggy back off of that one and head over to number 5 which says....


"People will do anything to those who help them throw rocks at their enemies."


And if you think about this very carefully, you will realize that this is very true.


There is a common saying especially in movies which is true, and it goes thus...


"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."


This effortlessly illustrates that there is almost nothing that bonds people more QUICKLY and STRONGLY than having a common enemy.


Even if you meet someone you don't know from Adam, and somehow you find out that you both hate the same things, or have the same enemy,


All of a sudden you begin to like that person and you immediately feel closer to them.


A vivid example is a Manchester United FC fan supporting Arsenal FC in a football match against Chelsea FC because he hates Chelsea just as much as arsenal fans hate Chelsea.


And throughout the match, the Manchester United fans and the Arsenal fans are friends.


This principle is as powerful as it is profound.


Because it means that one of the greatest ways to get your reader to buy into your product or service is by...


"FINDING A COMMON ENEMY."


And if you pay close attention and do enough research,


You will find that it's pretty easy to find a common enemy between you and your reader, especially if you know what you are doing.


For example, when trying to sell products in the health Niche,


A common enemy can be the doctors and hospitals who keep prescribing drugs that don't really solve the problem, but only help to manage the condition and pain.


Or the pharmaceutical companies ("Big Pharma") who are bent on squeezing as much money out of sick patients as they can...


By producing drugs that make people only come back to buy more.


Do you get it?


Let's do one more.


If you are writing copy or selling a product in the make money online Niche in Nigeria for example,


A very good common enemy is the government.


You can say something like...


"The government doesn't want us to survive... That's why they keep formulating policies that make life harder for the average Nigerian especially we hardworking youths."


With that, your reader is automatically more inclined to listen to you, because you have a common enemy.


You can even take it up a notch by blaming the schools for not wanting students to complete their education quickly and be eligible to apply for good jobs...


And that they don't teach students the main things that they really need to survive in the outside world.


Do you see that?


Amazing!


Once you learn how to do this well, you will effortlessly close more and more sales and make a lot more money than you currently do.
