I forced myself to do this

,

I'm literally on the verge of deciding to shift this mail till tomorrow.

Because due to several unforeseen circumstances, I'd been unable to write today's mail before now.

But then, I signed up to do a 30-Day Marketing/Copywriting Email CRUSADE.

And that's exactly what I'm going to do — 30 days, not 29.

That said, let me quickly answer the second question from our friend who asked two questions yesterday.

Here's the question again for context:

"How can you create a marketing message so compelling that it not only grabs attention but also builds trust instantly, regardless of the audience's prior skepticism?"

This is a very interesting question.

Especially because this person probably knows a thing or two about marketing, from the way they phrased the question.

Here's the short answer to the question;

Master Copywriting.

Long answer?

Well, for starters, this person wants to achieve two things with their marketing message.

- Grab Attention

- Build Trust Instantly

Both things aren't easy to do, unless you've spent years mastering Copywriting — like I have.

To grab attention, fundamentally, you need to make sure your message has these two qualities;

Benefit and Curiosity.

Benefit: It must be something that solves a problem your audience has, helps them get a desired result or takes them from where they are currently to where they'd like to be.

Curiosity: It should be very interesting and be able to inspire curiosity in them.

Preferably, you'll want to say something they have never heard of or seen before.

Or say something they have heard/seen before in a completely new and interesting way.

That way, it sparks their curiosity and snatches their attention.

Now that you know how to grab your reader's attention,

How do you build trust instantly?

It certainly helps if you already have a sterling reputation before marketing to your potential customers.

But then, chances are, your potential customers currently don't know you from Adam.

And so, more often than not, you'll have to build trust with them from scratch.

And here are a few ways you can do this.

1. Use social proof:

Use Testimonials, reviews and other forms of social proof to build instant trust in your brand.

2. Leverage authority

Authorities are people, bodies or corporations who are widely considered to be experts or knowledgeable in any given field or industry.

You can leverage authority voices in your niche who can speak to the integrity and value of your brand.

This way, you're literally borrowing the trust already built by the authority for your brand.

3. Be believable

Don't make outrageous claims you can't deliver on.

Especially if you don't have proof to back it up.

Humans have a natural BS detector.

They can literally smell it when you're lying.

And they'll call your bluff.

So you want to make sure you sound believable when you're marketing your products and making promises or bold claims.

Only promise what you can deliver.

And only make bold claims that you have solid proof to back up.

I strongly believe that if you do all of these well, you'll not only grab your audience's attention,

But you'll also build instant trust in your brand.

But then again, if you want to absolutely guarantee that you can do this EFFECTIVELY and CONSISTENTLY for your brand,

Then the best thing for you to do is to learn and master Copywriting.

And if you are interested in learning Copywriting, I might have something for you soon.

Details later.

See you tomorrow.

Yours "trust building marketer",
