This is a very familiar situation. 

You know that moment when you suddenly get jerked back into the reality that time is no longer on your side…

…after you have procrastinated doing something until you can no longer procrastinate?

Well, let’s just say that’s the exact situation am in right now. 

You see, just a few weeks ago, I was in the bathroom having a cold shower when suddenly the cold water running over my skin sparked an idea in my head. 

And this idea was so brilliant that unlike most ideas that I don’t write down immediately, I didn’t forget it. 

Sadly, I only kept thinking about it without taking any action until I got action paralysis — I didn’t work on the idea. 

And now here we are at the deadline. 

Welp! 

Anyway, here’s what my idea was all about. 

This one is something I’m really excited about.

I’ll just go straight to the point. 

Today’s date makes it exactly 31 days to my birthday, which is the 19th of April. 

And it’s not just any birthday.

To reveal, or not to reveal?

Decisions… Decisions…

Okay… Here we go.

It’s my 25th birthday. 

Yes, Big 25!

So you can imagine why this one is quite special to me. 

So here’s the idea I came up with. 

I decided to go absolutely bonkers and put out a sh*t ton of content between now and then. 

And I’m going to do it in two ways, and on two different platforms. 

The first platform is here, where you’re currently reading this letter —  my email list. 

And here’s what I intend to do. 

First, a little back story. 

So for the past 3 years or so, I have been running a business selling smartphone accessories right here in the “slums” of Biobaku hostel in the University of Lagos. 

And I’ve successfully and consistently sold these products practically every single day since I’ve been here, processing over 2,100 transactions over this period. 

And I can tell you one thing for sure. 

The number of lessons I have learnt from doing this single thing consistently every single day for the past 3 years, are enough to fill an entire book. 

So I’ve decided that for the 30 days leading up to my birthday, I’m going to run a 30-day series, sharing one lesson each per day. 

I’m talking about lessons on:

• Sales
• Closing
• Branding
• Marketing 
• Consistency
• Relationships
• Book-keeping
• Customer Service
• Customer Retention

And so much more. 

In this 30-day series, I’m going to be laying bare all my “secrets”, “tricks” and “gimmicks” that have helped me to make consistent DAILY sales. 

And I’m going to show you how to apply these things to your own context, whether you run a business selling products or offering services. 

Trust me, this series is one you do not want to miss out on. 

And if you know anyone who would benefit from this, be a cultured person and share my contact with them so they don’t miss out. 

Remember, this is 2025. Collaboration is the new competition.

Here, I’ll be doing a 25-day Series (yes, 25 because it’s my 25th birthday). 

And in this series, I’ll be sharing 25 life lessons I have learnt over the course of my short life journey so far. 

And maybe throw in a couple of sales, marketing and branding lessons while at it. 

Consider this my own little way of giving back to my community, and expressing my heartfelt and immense gratitude to God for my life and journey so far. 

That said, over the next 25 to 30 days, you’re going to be seeing (and hopefully enjoying) a lot of me.
