What's up !
If you read yesterday's mail, by now you know that if you can paint pictures in the mind of your prospects or leads,
Pictures of their desired ideal future,
Then you are going to make a lot of money.
But then, it begs the question.
How do you know exactly the desired ideal future of my prospects so that you can paint them a picture of it?
It's not that difficult really, but it will take some work on your part,
And I will show you how you can go about it in a moment,
But first, here's something interesting I want you to think about.
First off, do you watch Korean movies?
If your answer to that question is yes, then you most definitely have watched the movie "Boys Before Flowers".
It's one of the old Korean Blockbuster movies of those days.
Although it is true that Korean movies can be very childish and annoying,
While re-watching that old movie today, some very important lessons were staring right at me.
If you have watched that movie, then you know that the main character (Gu Jun-Pyo) was one of the 4 rich kids (known as F4) who are the main characters of the story.
Even as a youngster, this guy had everything.
You name it: Cars, clothes, shoes, money, fame and what have you.
To top it all off, he was tall and handsome.
Needless to say, he was the dream of every girl in their high school.
All the girls were literally drooling after him and his 3 other rich friends.
Jun-Pyo in particular happened to be very cocky and arrogant and he derived joy from picking on other students.
Somewhere along the line, this guy crossed paths with a girl who hated him and his behavior (Her name was Geum Jan-Di) .
This girl was the exact opposite of him.
I mean she was poor (her whole family was), short, and she really wasn't that beautiful.
She had nothing that you would think would attract a high-class guy like Jun-Pyo to her,
And as usual, he thought she like other girls would drool over him.
But she hated his behavior and arrogance, and blurted out her hatred for him to his face every chance she got.
Jun-Pyo thought it was normal girl stuff and she was just pretending not to like him when in fact she did,
So he decided to "spoil her" by buying her stuff and taking her to places (even against her wish) thinking that he would break through her defences using his money.
To his shock, she seemed to hate him even the more,
Before you know what was happening,
The young man fell like an iroko tree.
He fell in love with this girl.
- This one girl who didn't give a damn about his money, his looks, his charm or anything he had.
- This one girl who hated him for his behavior,
- This one girl who even became violent towards him at some point.
This was the girl he ended up falling in love with, even though he was too arrogant to admit it to himself or to her.
What do you think about this story?
What do you think happened there?
Why do you think the young man fell for this girl and not other girls?
Think about this very carefully, and then tell me what you think by replying to this mail.
I will tell you what I think tomorrow, or some other time.
In the mean time, let me quickly tell you how you can know the desired ideal future of your prospects so that you can know how to paint a vivid picture of it to them.
I'll tell you in 3 quick steps.
1. Conduct research.
2. Create a customer avatar.
3. Start painting your picture.
There are more that I can't seem to remember now,
But each of these steps will require some time for me to explain,
And considering the time (9:10 PM as I type this), I think I will leave the explanation for tomorrow.
Cool?
Awesome.
Don't miss tomorrow's mail.
Hint: It will come in early tomorrow.
Have a nice night ahead.
