I was still ruminating on what to write to you about yesterday, when I saw something on Elephchild's WhatsApp status.

For context, Elephchild is one of the few copywriters I look up to in the Nigerian Copywriting space (which include Golibe Ilechukwu, Dolapo Hamzat, Zhully and some others).

What I saw on his status was an irresistible offer.

And when I saw the offer and ruminated on it for a few seconds, I immediately paid to access the offer.

And I'm going to tell you what the offer was all about in a moment,

But first here's why I couldn't resist the urge to take the offer immediately.

You see, marketing at its core boils down to really simple principles.

And many times, people try to over-complicate things.

But if you focus on the fundamental aspects of marketing, you can never go wrong.

I couldn't resist the offer because of 3 main reasons.

And these same reasons can also make your offers so irresistible that your prospects would feel STUPID for not grabbing it -- if done rightly.

And here they are.

1. The offer was addressing a problem I was currently facing.

Recently, I have been trying to grow my new account on Twitter, and I have been trying the things I already knew but I haven't gotten the kind of results I want.

So when I saw him propose an offer on the issue and knowing that he was getting results already on Twitter, I knew I had to take the offer.

So when creating your offers, make sure it's exactly what your audience needs an that particular time.

2. His Authority + His Copywriting skills

Like I said, this is one of the few guys that are actually getting results in this Copywriting thingy.

Plus, he has been endorsed by some of those too copywriters I mentioned above like Dolapo and Golibe, so I knew that he knows his onions.

He also effectively used some Copywriting and Marketing tactics which worked on me which worked like hypnosis.

First, he used urgency by stating that the offer would expire in less than 24 hours (midnight of yesterday),

And then he used scarcity by making a bold claim that he was sure that NOBODY else had discovered the secret he was using to grow and get results on Twitter,

This, he subtly implied that the information he was going to share with us was exclusive/premium information, thereby making me even more eager to take the offer.

For your business, try to develop yourself and earn credibility in your niche so that people can see you as an authority in your industry.

Also, don't downplay the power of urgency and scarcity. Use them well but wisely.

3. It was affordable.

The offer was low priced considering the value it contained and it was a no-brainer.

I just had to take the offer.

If you have been reading up till this point, the you already know that the offer was about growing and getting results (followers + clients) on Twitter.

Long story short, after I got access to the offer which was delivered in video format,

I was watching the video and I didn't know when I slept off because I already had a stressful evening yesterday.

And that was how I ended up not sending you a mail yesterday.

Hopefully, I have been able to make up for that by sharing with you marketing strategies I learnt from watching Elephchild execute a short marketing campaign live.

For this third reason, make sure your audience can afford your offer.

If they can't, then you are going to be frustrated when you make ZERO sales.

I am not saying you should always set low prices. Instead reach out to more people who can afford your offer to avoid frustration.

If you incorporate all these things I listed into your offer, you will sell out fast.

And that's not a cap.
