Why I broke down.

Sep 27, 2023 7:01 am

The feeling started again yesterday, but I thought it was going to be business as usual.

To my surprise, it was really happening.

For the past couple of weeks, I had been feeling it in my entire body.

You know how you don't feel anything serious yet, but your body can sense a sickness or breakdown coming up.

That's exactly how I had been feeling.

But I ignored the feeling all the while.

I figured since I hadn't broken down yet, then my body could probably handle it.

Plus I didn't really want to take any drugs (I hate their guts).

But after a while of frequent and consistent mosquito bites,

I finally broke down today.

When the feeling started yesterday, I expected that I would soon stop feeling it as usual.

But today it got worse.

I had a terrible mixture of several feelings.

Hunger + Stomach Pain + Waist Pain + Headache.

I was restless and uncomfortable. I couldn't sit or lie down in peace.

And because everyone else had gone to work, there was no one to go and buy drugs for me, or get me something to eat.

So I had to endure the pain throughout the day, trying really hard but unsuccessfully to pass time by forcing myself to sleep.

But it just was not happening.

I even tried watching TikTok videos to distract myself from the pain and discomfort I was feeling.

But the pain was still there.

And even though I feel a little better now, I absolutely hated how much pain I was felt throughout the day.

Especially since it is something I could easily have prevented.

But because of my stubbornness and refusal to do the right thing, it cost me a whole day's worth of work.

Because obviously, I couldn't do anything productive as a result of my break down today.

So the lesson in there, if any, is that you shouldn't wait for things to get really bad before you look for a solution.

Yes I know, humans are corrective in nature as opposed to being preventive.

But if you want to have a productive life and business, you might want to change your approach.

Because if you wait for things to get really bad before you fix them, the consequences could be very grave.

And trust me, the feeling of knowing you could have easily prevented that situation is going to make it even more painful to you.

Anyway, that's my two cents for you today.

See you tomorrow.

To your marketing success,

Daniel Enisan.
