A Letter To {{contact.first_name}}.

Dear ,

When they say knowledge is power, you may not understand why until you come across certain situations where you are powerless against things happening all because of your ignorance.

This is the reason why you should always seek to increase your knowledge in your niche and other areas too.

This is one of the things that I would tell a younger version of myself or my younger sibling if he wanted to get started in the online space.

Because when I started out in the online space, I didn't really have any guide.

I was just busy looking to make quick money, because I was in a position where I needed money for quite a number of things that I couldn't afford at the moment.

So I was just looking for a quick fix.

But if I knew what I know now years ago, I probably would have done things differently and made greater strides than the little I have made so far.

And that is why I am writing this "letter" to you specifically to tell you what no one told me when I started out,

And that is...

Focus on what matters most.

Whether you're a skilled person like a:

  • Copywriter,
  • Graphics Designer,
  • Website designer,
  • Sales funnel builder,

Or you're into an online business model like:

  • Affiliate marketing,
  • E-commerce,
  • Information marketing,
  • Etc.

Whatever it is,

There is definitely a part of that skill or business model that is the most important thing.

Focus on that thing...

If you have a skill, most of the time, the most important thing to do is to hone that skill by practicing with it everyday.

  • If you're a copywriter for example, you hone your skill by studying and dissecting copy everyday and writing everyday if possible.

  • If you're a graphics designer, you hone your skill by watching more tutorials, learning more tricks and Hacks and practicing with your design tools everyday.

  • Meanwhile, if you're an affiliate marketer, the most important thing in that business is to generate leads, and that is exactly what you need to focus on.

And so on.

Whatever your niche is, figure out the most important thing and stick to it.

The problem is that many times, people leave what is important and focus on what they think is important which is usually money.

And usually, they end up not having any money to show for it.

Am I saying you should not focus on money?

Of course not.

But as a newbie skilled person or online entrepreneur, you are most likely not going to make any money in your first few months, and that's perfectly okay.

It's just that the noise out there of people making huge amounts of money in short periods of time is too much these days.

But the fact that you haven't made any money yet is not bad...

As long as you keep honing your skill and focusing on the most important things.

Pretty soon, and before you even realize it, you will have honed your skill well enough for you to attract clients.

And even if you don't attract clients (which happens a lot, no big deal), you would have grown to the extent where you can confidently and boldly approach clients and pitch your services to them.

And when you do get the gig, you would be able to deliver flawlessly without fear.

If yours is an online business, keep generating leads or doing more of the most important thing, and before you know it, you will begin to make sales.

And you will succeed.

Don't ever forget, I'm rooting for you and for your success.

That said, have a nice evening ahead.

To your digital success,

King Danisan™.
