What do you do with it {{contact.first_name}}?

,
It couldn't have gone any worse than it already did today.
And the worst part is that my mind (or spirit) warned me ahead of time,
But I refused to listen and pay attention.
The result of my disobedience was that I ended up wasting more than 2 good hours of my afternoon watching this match (my team lost the match),
Which was originally supposed to be spent learning new things and improving myself with activities such as dissecting more copy,
Especially now that school is about resuming... Because pretty soon, I'm going to have very little time on my hands to do some of these things.
In fact right now, I am just praying that my school does not welcome us back to school with tests or exams.
Because if that happens?
Well.
Just pray for me in case, cos I'll need it.
Meanwhile, I received some responses from some people about what I asked your advice on,
And although I am still pondering on what to do and how exactly to go about it, I will come to a decision soon.
And just before you go, I have a random thought (as usual) for you to ponder on.
And it's something I saw in Golibe's mail earlier today which goes like this:
“It is great to have a 9 to 5 job. But what do you do with your 5 to 9?”
This is something worth pondering about.
It is (or at least should be) common knowledge that as much as it is good to venture into an online business or learning a digital skill,
You should have an actual job that you can use to keep body and soul together while you build on the side.
But then most (or some) people aren't even interested in getting into the digital space at all,
All in the name of:
- My job is too stressful,
- I don't have time,
- I am a student,
And many other reasons.
But if you check very well,
Most of these people use their free time to do frivolous and unimportant things like:
- Scrolling through social media,
- Gisting with friends (who are almost always also unintentional about personal growth and development),
- Watching movies,
- Playing games, etc.
This same set of people still complain about not having money,
Yet they are unwilling to pay the sacrifice required to be able to "print money" online on demand.
Truth is while most workers work from 9 - 5 (8 hours a day),
Most entrepreneurs work for double that amount of time and even more while building their businesses.
And at the end of the day, when you see them succeeding and balling, you will think they do the same thing with their "free" time as regular 9 - 5 workers.
Which brings me to a very simple question.
What do you do with your 5 - 9 ?
I'm assuming you have a 9 - 5 job here,
So what do you do with the rest of your time of the day after excluding time spent in transit, in prayer/worship, with family, etc?
Write them down.
Now ask yourself,
- Are these things contributing to my growth and personal development?
- Can they help me build a side online business or learn a High-Income Skill quickly?
- If I keep up this routine for the next 5 years, where would I be?
Of course I can't force you to actually ask yourself these questions and think on them,
But if you do, you just might actually begin to gain clarity and see areas of your life that you need to change or improve on.
So do it, or not.
Meanwhile, a new week begins tomorrow.
For me, it's the beginning of the week that ends my stay as a teacher in my place of work, and I intend to make it a productive one, not just as a teacher.
What have you got planned for this week?
Reply to this mail and let me know.
Meanwhile, have yourself a lovely night's rest.
To your digital success,
King Danisan™.
One more thing,
As is probably obvious, I wrote this mail yesterday and couldn't send it out because of an also obvious reason which I believe you know.
So, happy new week.
And don't forget to kill it this week.
Peace.
